Ada Shobu combines both in a gorgeous material blend of cotton, hemp and the right dash of Tussah silk to add a subtle shimmer to the fabric.
A wish from our Japanese babywearing friends and communities, the colour gradation was was the winner of a nationwide design contest. The colour arrangement is inspired by colour palette Shobu that stands for early summer colours. The colours alternate from greens over white to pink to create a summerly gradation that will delight babywearers in Japan and elsewhere in the world.
Differently coloured edges give orientation to a beginner and they inspire to tie the wrap in different ways to create changing colour impressions  
Jacquard woven and of medium weight, this fabric blend is soft like the other Ada fabrics and a bit fluffy. The slightly grippy surface and the inherent diagonal stretch make it easy to tie a perfect and precise fit and to hold knots in place even after prolonged carrying. A perfect allrounder from newborn to toddler age.
